Wednesday, February 6, 2019, STIE Perbanas Surabaya conducted a comparative study to the Islamic University of Malang. The team consisting of the Deputy Chairperson for Student Development and Public Relations, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., Deputy Head of Cooperation, Research and Community Service, Dr. Drs. Ec. Soni Harsono, M.M., and Head of Public Relations and Marketing, Abu Amar Fauzi, S.S., M.M. The three of them want to know in detail related to the management of foreign students and the development of international cooperation through the International Affairs Office (KUI).

At exactly 09.00 the entire team of STIE Perbanas Surabaya was immediately invited to the Center for Foreign Language Development (P2BA) and Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) Unisma. On this occasion, the Chairman of the Center for Foreign Language Development, Dr. Hj. Mutmainnah Mustofa., M.Pd. It provides directions and explanations for student development programs, especially foreign students. In addition, foreign students are also required to understand Indonesian through the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program, in this case being guided directly by Prayitno Tri Laksono, S.Pd., M.Pd.

"To prepare for the BIPA program, STIE Perbanas needs to prepare early, especially for educators. After that, the preparation of supporting facilities and facilities so that they can get an operating license, "said Prayitno.

Responding to this information, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., is interested in managing the BIPA program in order to increase the number of foreign students. He and the team in the cooperation division plan to visit in the management of the BIPA program. In fact, in the future it can be improved for student admissions at STIE Perbanas Surabaya through short course programs or summer camps or several other similar programs.

Besides, Dr. Drs. Ec. Soni Harsono, M.M., was interested in visiting the Unisma Office of International Affairs (KUI) to strengthen international cooperation. In the room, his party was given an explanation by the Head of KUI, Hj. Novi Arfarita, S.P., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., related to licensing management and collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Novi also suggested that STIE Perbanas Surabaya join the KUI Forum so that later they can find out which system is adjusted to government policy.
