Announcement of Batch 1 Teaching Campus 2021, Perbanas Surabaya Sends 18 Students
Education is still a hot issue in Indonesia, especially in underdeveloped areas. The Ministry of Culture and Culture (Kemendikbud) is aware of this, one of which is by launching the Teaching Campus program.
The Teaching Campus Program is part of the previous program, namely the Merdeka Learning - Merdeka Campus (MBKM) policy. This program was just released by the Minister of Education and Culture, Mr. Nadiem Makarim in February 2021 yesterday.
According to information on the official website of the Merdeka Campus, registration for this program is open on February 9-21, 2021. Announcement of the final selection results will be on March 12, 2021. The Ministry of Education and Culture has opened a quota for 15 thousand students who wish to participate in this program. Until the official registration is closed, students who have registered have reached 48,657 students.
Later, students who pass the Teaching Campus program will receive assistance with a single tuition fee (UKT) of Rp. 2,400,000 with an additional living cost of Rp. 700,000 per month.
Perbanas Surabaya itself managed to send as many as 18 students who successfully passed the Teaching Campus program. Most of these students come from the Management Study Program and the Sharia Economics Study Program. A total of 3 students from the Sharia Economics Study Program and 15 students from the Management Study Program.
This is a proud achievement, of course, given the many competitors from other campuses who want to take part in the Teaching Campus Program. Even the competition is on a national scale, because every student is allowed to take part in this program. The requirements for participants who are allowed to take this program are active students at least semester 5, have a minimum GPA of 3 (from a scale of 4), have teaching and organizational experience and the last one gets a recommendation from the campus.
Later the Teaching Campus program will run for 4 months starting from March 22, 2021 to June 25, 2021. With the main task of students teaching for 6 hours a day. Student activities include assisting literacy and numeracy learning, assisting in technology adaptation, assisting with administration, socializing learning products from the Ministry of Education and Culture, disseminating ministry programs and ambassadors for behavior change education.
