With the growing demands in the world of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, universities are required to continue to innovate. The development of these innovations is useful for improving learning, especially by utilizing developments in information technology. Perbanas Surabaya lecturers are encouraged to continue to innovate in order to improve the quality of learning for students.

This is encouraged by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education by issuing a Funding Assistance program for the development of digital-based learning innovations. There are 2 funding programs, namely IPD (Digital Learning Innovation) and IMD (Digital Module Innovation). Departing from there, Perbanas Surabaya on Thursday, March 4, 2021 held a socialization of the IPD and IMD Assistance Funds. The event takes place online via media zoom.

This activity went on smoothly, with the first agenda of the arrangement of events being the welcome speech of the chairman of Perbanas Surabaya, Mr. Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si.,. In his remarks, he conveyed that lecturers at Perbanas must continue to innovate, especially in the field of learning methods in order to increase competitiveness with other campuses. He emphasized that with the presence of new study program lecturers engaged in information technology, they were able to collaborate and work together to create innovations in digital learning methods. Finally, he hopes that this year, Perbanas Surabaya will again succeed in getting this learning development fund and digital module assistance program.

The event was continued with the delivery of socialization materials by the head of the academic field, Dr. Dr. Drs. Emanuel Kristijadi, MM. In delivering the material, he explained how to get this funding assistance program. Describe the difference in this funding assistance program from the previous year. Furthermore, he also hopes that this year the lecturers of Perbanas Surabaya will be able to obtain the aid, considering that the impact on Perbanas Surabaya is so great. As information, thanks to this grant program, last year Perbanas Surabaya was able to work together and accept students from other universities to take courses at Perbanas.

Furthermore, there is a session explaining tips and tricks from lecturers who last year received this grant program. There were 3 titles of grants that passed last year and received financial assistance. They are a team from Mrs. Luciana Spica A who submitted digital Learning Innovations in the International Accounting course. There is a team from Mrs. Nurul Hasanah UD with a Digital Learning Innovation submission in the Accounting Information System course. Finally, there was a team from Mr. Romi Ilham with a Digital Module Innovation submission in the Entrepreneurship course.

The event was closed with a question and answer session and sharing between lecturers. It is hoped that this event can give birth to a new team that will receive grant funds to improve literacy and innovation from the existing learning process at Perbanas Surabaya. (yhcp / hms)
