Exploring Economic Potential, Students Are Enthusiastic to Participate in the 2018 Perbanas Competition
The Diploma 3 Program Association (HMD) of STIE Perbanas Surabaya held an annual event in the form of a Diploma Perbanas Competition. Located at Campus 2 Jalan Wonorejo Utara 16 Rungkut Surabaya, this competition was attended by at least 90 high school / vocational / MA students and equivalent, with details of 48 participants in the MYOB Competition and 41 participants in the Bank Operation Competition (BOC). Participants who took part were wider in scope, including Java, Bali and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Secretary of the Diploma 3 Program, Putri Wulanditya, SE., M.Sc.Ak., said this routine event was different from the previous year. This year, the Diploma 3 Program Student Association is more intense in designing and conceptualizing events so that it has an impact on more and wider participants. "The participants who participated this time were wider and more numerous than last year. There were those from the Dwijendra Denpasar Bali Vocational School coming here," he said.
On this occasion, MYOB Contest participants faced several series of tests ranging from working on multiple choice questions to solving cases with MYOB software. As for the BOC competition participants, they also worked on multiple choice questions and fill slips. Of the 10 best participants in the 2 stages of the BOC Competition, they will take part in a role play as a customer service and teller.
Interestingly, this year, participants in the BOC competition were included in the Grooming Fashion Show Competition or dressed like a business looking. All students participating in the competition will walk like a model wearing business attire.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, M.Fin., Also attended the event to open the 2018 Perbanas Competition. His party always supports various student activities to develop themselves. In front of all the contestants, he advised that those who came were the winners because they had overcome their fear of competing. "Friends, have a good fight, I hope you will be given ease in completing this competition," he ordered.
