Tuesday, April 23, 2019, the Accounting Study Program at STIE Perbanas Surabaya held a workshop for local lecturers. This is intended to guide them in the publication of research and community service. The activity entitled "Workshop on Integration of Community Service in Accounting Subjects" was attended by 17 accounting lecturers. Located in Room II.A302 Campus 2 STIE Perbanas Surabaya, this event aims to provide learning about the preparation of community service proposals in administrative completeness of functional positions, curriculum integration, and submitting community service grant funds.

Then, the speaker who was presented by a professor from the Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) Salatiga, Prof. Dr. Intiyas Utami, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA ,. CMA., QIA. He was presented on the grounds of his experience and expertise in realizing research and community service from grants provided by the government.

During the activity, Prof. Intiyas explained how to make a proposal in accordance with the provisions. "The preparation of the proposal must be based on a background that discusses problems that occur in society and includes solutions," he explained.

In addition, there are several things that need to be considered, namely the preparation of community service publications consisting of the knowledge to be written, understanding the objectives of community service, and the implementation of community service. In addition, he explained about the preparation of preliminaries, literature reviews, activity plans, discussions, conclusions and writing techniques.

Several things need to be emphasized, such as avoiding writing long titles, abbreviations and common words. Other tricks of writing titles include showing the uniqueness of a community service journal, highlighting keywords, and placing the most important keywords that are specific to the beginning of the title.

Furthermore, Prof. Intiyas explained what is not allowed in abstract and abstract characteristics. In fact, for the results and discussion, use straightforward and simple language and show data in the form of images or tables, referring to the literature citation and the results clearly.

Meanwhile, one of the accounting lecturers, Lufi Yuwana Mursita, S.E., M. Sc., Also submitted a community service proposal to students that focuses on the cost of goods manufactured by manufacturing companies.
