The widespread spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in Indonesia has an impact on various sectors, one of which is at the level of the education unit. In response to this, STIE Perbanas Surabaya has taken a stand and preventive action to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in the campus environment.

Based on Circular Number 3892 / Ed.20000 / 03/20 concerning the Policy for Handling Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), STIE Perbanas Surabaya has set a number of concrete steps. The policies stipulated include: Campus Environment Sterilization Activities; Academic Activity Policy; Non-Academic Activity Policy (Student Affairs); Precaution for Prevention; and Postponement / Cancellation of Official Travel.

Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., explained that sterilization is carried out by regularly decontaminating and spraying disinfectants of facilities and infrastructure in the campus environment. Then, lecture activities are carried out online through the e-learning.perbanas.ac.id page based on moodle and webinar.perbanas.ac.id, as well as other media until March 28, 2020. "Administrative and library services continue to run, but limited by the online system and social media, "he explained.

Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., added that administrative service hours in the STIE Perbanas Surabaya environment are also limited. Namely, starting from 09.00 WIB until 14.00 WIB. "If there are lecturers, educational staff, or students who are sick with symptoms such as fever, cold stones, sore throat, or shortness of breath, they will be sent home and asked to isolate themselves at home," he added.

In addition, student activities, both organizations and other activities that involve students on and off campus, are currently postponed or canceled. "In fact, the official travel activities of lecturers and educational staff, both at home and abroad, are temporarily postponed or canceled," he concluded. (hms)
