The Center for Accounting Studies at STIE Perbanas Surabaya held a Colloquium in Accounting. Taking place in Room II.A302, this event was attended by all local business and banking campus lecturers. Dr. Dra. Diah Eka Ningtyas, Ak., M.Sc., as the management of the Accounting Study Center of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, said this event aims to provide motivation to lecturers who wish to continue the Doctoral Program at home and abroad.

Right on Thursday, January 9, 2020, the speakers who were invited were a number of lecturers from the latest graduates of the doctoral program. The accounting lecturer who delivered material, including: Dr. Diah Pujiati, Dr. Soni Agus Irwandi, Dr. Supriyati, Dr. Kautsar Riza Salman, and Dr. Nurul Hasanah Uswati Dewi. In fact, the Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., also attended as a panelist at the event.

During the seminar, each new Doctor of Accounting explained the contents of his dissertation study in front of lecturer participants. The uniqueness and characteristics of the dissertation are well presented without leaving the content and focus of discussion while taking the doctoral program.

In addition, they also provide motivation for lecturers who have not taken S3 to be undertaken immediately. Tips for completing a doctoral program were delivered by the presenter. The hope is that the interest in further doctoral studies for STIE Perbanas Surabaya lecturers will increase.
