Bank STIE Perbanas Surabaya Operational Laboratory provides training to a number of teachers of SMK Negeri 10 Surabaya. Located at Campus 1 Jl. Nginden Semolo 34-36 Surabaya, the teachers and students received material on conventional bank transactions, both theory and practice. This training also takes place from Monday-Friday, January 7-10 2019 with the concept of sharing and discussion with all instructors.

The discussion that was presented was related to the development of banking science, where there are many materials and practices that help and increase knowledge of the learning process in schools so that teachers and students can explore the material and be equipped with practice. This training was not only attended by teachers, but there was one student from SMK Negeri 10 who also took part in this training because the student was going to take part in a LKS provincial level competition on banking science.

Rifaatul Mahampang, a student of SMK Negeri 10 Surabaya said that the knowledge and materials conveyed during the training helped her to take part in the competition. "I get a lot of knowledge or material and it is equipped with practices that can be obtained, such as exports, imports and the accounts provided are also in more detail, as well as the tools provided in the laboratory are complete. Later, I will share it with friends who did not participate in this training and have not received the material or practice at school, "he said.

Meanwhile, one of the instructors, Chitra Laksmi Rithmaya, SE., MM, explained about regulation in the banking world. The material given is very important for teachers to update their knowledge of banking regulations more deeply. Apart from the importance of learning in the practice of a laboratory, teachers are also introduced that in the world of lectures, especially at STIE Perbanas Surabaya, it is mandatory for Diploma 3 students to take certification exams for both Teller and Customer Service. "So, when banking began to use IT personnel a lot and no longer needed human resources (HR), STIE Perbanas Surabaya still struggled for its graduates to remain competent in the banking sector both manually and in a system manner," explained Chitra Laksmi Rithmaya.

Apart from discussing the system discussion material, teachers from SMK Negeri 10 Surabaya were also invited to see and know the processes and flow of operations in the laboratory of the STIE Perbanas Surabaya bank. They take part in the simulation so that the teachers and students can easily receive this training material. The reason is, the STIE Perbanas Surabaya laboratory has also been adjusted to existing standards in banking.
