The Postgraduate Student Association (Himapas) Master of Management STIE Perbanas Surabaya held an International Conference of Business and Banking Innovations (ICOBBI), on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Located in Helium Room 3rd floor at Novotel Samator Surabaya, Jl. Raya Kedung Baruk No.26-28 Rungkut, Surabaya, this activity was attended by dozens of participants from various regions to foreign countries.

With the theme Strategic Challenge of Business and Banking Within an Information Literacy and Innovations Technology, the speakers who were presented were also experts and academics from abroad. The presenters who were brought in were Chonlatis Darawong (Sripatum University, Thailand) and Kai Chi (Samuel) Yam, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor of Management at the National University of Singapore Business School). And, other resource persons, Prof. Madya Dr. Reevany Bustami (University Sains Malaysia).

The Head of Himapas STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Idha Sudianto said that the International Conference was the first time it was held by the S2 student organization. This activity is a form of the contribution of education personnel in responding to challenges in the business and banking sector.

"This activity was opened because it is a form of contribution in providing solutions to challenges in the business and banking sector," said Idha on the sidelines of the conference.

Furthermore, Idha emphasized that this event is aligned with technological developments, digital innovation is needed so that the existence of business and banking remains a national and international reference. (public relations)
