STIE Perbanas Surabaya through the Center for Research and Community Service (PPPM) again held activities on 26/7/2017, for lecturers to guide and provide knowledge in research publications. The activity entitled Turnitin Management Training for Google Scholar Profiles and SINTA (Science and Technology Index) was attended by more than 40 lecturers in Management, Accounting and Islamic Economics Study Programs. Located in the Seminar Room D201 Building D Lt II Campus 1 STIE Perbanas Surabaya, learning about the Turnitin application aims to avoid plagiarism in the process of writing research articles by lecturers and student final assignments.

Delivering the training this time was intended to equip lecturers to understand about the use of the Turnitin application, and to create a profile on Google Scholar so that later they could be registered on the SINTA (Science and Technology Index) account, so that the citation of the published lecturer's work could be found.

Entering the training material, Mochamad Nurhadi, S.Kom., M.M. as an instructor giving sequences in using the Turnitin application. Starting from creating an account, filling in data in an account, creating a class, to being guided to search for the level of similarity of writing in articles that are uplouded on the Turnitin website.

Furthermore, Dr. Soni Harsono, S.E., M.Si. In the delivery of the material in the second session, it was revealed that to optimize the SINTA content, it was then socialized so that all lecturers could register in SINTA. There is something interesting about SINTA, namely SINTA will be a vehicle that can bridge publications for lecturers and will become a medium in the regulation of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
