Sharia Banking Encourages Student Business Ideas
Talking about the fundamental problems faced by entrepreneurs in advancing business at the level of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a source of funding. This can also be done by borrowing funds from the bank. So, what is the mechanism that is implemented so that this borrowing process will gain the trust of the banking sector?
To answer this problem, STIE Perbanas Surabaya through its Diploma study program held a Public Lecture with the theme "Projection of Banking Financing in the Middle of the Rise of Online Businesses". Located in Hall B Campus 2, this activity was attended by all Diploma students of Accounting and Diploma in Finance and Banking, to undergraduate students who took banking concentration on Saturday (8/10). Meanwhile, the speakers presented were the Head of BRI Syariah Sidoarjo Gateaway, Mohammad Zaki Ansyori and the owner of the Kikie Collection, Riski Hapsari.
Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, SE., M.Fin., In his speech said that students who have business ideas should not be afraid to develop these ideas only because of financing or capital problems. This opportunity with the leadership of BRI Syariah can be used to gather information about the requirements for obtaining a loan from a bank and several things that must be completed properly, such as details of financing costs and future business prospects. "The most important thing when studying is never to be afraid to fail," he motivated students.
In this public lecture, Riski Hapsari gave interesting tips on doing business online based on the experiences he had started since 2003. These tips include: how to increase the number of followers and how to deal with customers who are usually not serious about making transactions via online. Hopefully, this activity can open the mindset of students who aspire to develop business ideas so that in the future their business can develop and run successfully. (Iffah / Eko)
