NGANTER Fun Outbound at the Perbanas Campus
Not always, the excitement of the outbound can be outside the campus, the proof is that STIE Perbanas Surabaya has succeeded in building joy for all new students of the 2016/2017 class. Smiles, laughter, cheerfulness, and togetherness were seen on the faces of the new students. The event was packaged through the Character Development (NGANTER) activity, the aim was to introduce the world of campus which was conceptualized with outbound games. This activity lasts for two days, to be precise on Tuesday and Wednesday (30-31 / 8) in the campus environment of STIE Perbanas Surabaya.
Assistant to the Chair III for Student Affairs & Cooperation, Dr. Sasongko Budisusetyo, M.Sc., explained that in the early days of entering the campus world, the potential of new students needed to be explored and developed according to their respective characters. "This aerospace activity is useful for guiding and directing them to have superior personalities by prioritizing noble values, but still having broad knowledge and having a global perspective".
There are a variety of outbound games for the 2016/2017 freshman character building at STIE Perbanas Surabaya, including: rolling marbles, walk together, battle ship, 3 minute test, and speeches. All the games given make the new students have the nature of sympathy, cooperation, togetherness, and solidarity. In addition, they can be trained to be leadership, confident, and think critically and to improve concentration.
New student of S1 Accounting, Annisaa Besty N. said that this Character Development event provided an extraordinary experience. “Here, I also feel more confident and quickly get to know lots of friends. "I can learn various things from the games given, starting from feeling empathy, self-confidence, training in concentration, cohesiveness, cooperation, and leadership," he said. (Eko).
