Students from Two Vocational High Schools Participate in Digital Transformation Workshop on Accounting and Banking

The Integrated Laboratory of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas organized a workshop entitled “Digital Transformation in Accounting and Banking: SAP ERP & LOB Software Workshop” on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The activity was conducted online via Zoom and attended by dozens of eleventh-grade students from SMK Negeri 1 Probolinggo and SMK Ketintang Surabaya.
The Head of the Integrated Laboratory of UHW Perbanas, Nura’ani Rokhmania, stated that the workshop served as a practical learning platform for students to understand the implementation of digital transformation in the fields of accounting and banking through the utilization of SAP ERP software and Lab Operation Bank (LOB). “Besides attending the sessions, the students actively participated throughout the workshop. They followed the instructors’ guidance to explore the tools and functions available in both the LOB and ERP applications,” explained Nura’ani Rokhmania after the event.
She further noted that the students gained direct exposure to digital banking transaction processes currently implemented in the professional banking industry. The materials presented covered various teller transaction procedures, including cash and non-cash withdrawals, cash and non-cash deposits, interbank and intrabank transfers, payment services, as well as foreign exchange trading transactions.
In addition, the participants were introduced to the use of deposit slips, withdrawal slips, and transaction input processes through the web-based banking laboratory system of UHW Perbanas using the LOB application.
Regarding the SAP ERP software training, participants were guided to practice the Purchase Order (PO) process. During the session, students learned how to create purchase order requests using the available software and monitor the process until completion. “For the ERP session, the participants were introduced to the most fundamental stage of the Purchase Order process through both theoretical explanation and hands-on practice,” she added.
It is worth noting that the LOB software is a banking application developed by Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas to support banking education and practical training activities. The application facilitates digital and web-based banking operational practices for learning purposes.
The workshop featured several speakers and instructors, including Nura’ani Rokhmania, Chitra Laksmi Rithmaya, Nurul Hasanah Uswati Dewi, and Zubaidah Nasution. (eko/pr)
