The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas has contributed 153 new graduates to society. They are entitled to hold academic degrees in accordance with their respective fields of study following their formal conferment at the graduation ceremony (yudisium), held at the 10th Floor Auditorium of the Wonorejo Campus on Friday (April 10).
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UHW Perbanas, Prof. Dr. Lutfi, S.E., M.Fin., stated that the graduation ceremony represents a formal milestone marking the completion of academic requirements within each study program. Each graduate is also awarded a distinction based on their academic performance, as reflected in their cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
“However, it is important to note that in the context of professional and societal success, the CGPA is merely a formal recognition on paper. While it serves as an important gateway to employment especially since our study programs are accredited with excellence and internationally recognized by IACBE it is not the sole determinant of success,” Lutfi explained before the graduates.
He further advised graduates to continuously develop themselves, maintain effective communication, and remain adaptive in understanding an environment that is rapidly changing. “In the workplace, the willingness to keep learning and growing is far more important. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all of you for pursuing higher education at UHW Perbanas, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Fundamentally, this institution is committed to consistently maintaining its quality,” he emphasized.
In accordance with the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Number 3100/Kp.10000/02/26 dated February 27, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business successfully graduated a total of 153 students, comprising 23 graduates from the Master’s Program in Management, 37 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Accounting, 85 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Management, and 8 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Sharia Economics.
