Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering and Design at UHW Perbanas Attended by 31 Graduates

The Faculty of Engineering and Design at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas an Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony (Yudisium) for graduates of the odd semester in the 2025–2026 academic year. Held at the Nginden Campus Auditorium, the event was attended by 31 graduates from the Bachelor’s programs in Informatics, Information Systems, and Visual Communication Design.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design at UHW Perbanas, Mochamad Nurhadi, S.Kom., M.M., stated that the graduation ceremony marks a transitional phase from academic life to the professional world. “You must have strong self-confidence as you enter the workforce. Do not feel inferior despite the demanding nature of the professional environment, and remain responsible to yourselves, your families, and your beloved alma mater,” he conveyed to the graduates on Friday (April 17).
He further emphasized that the challenges of the professional world are becoming increasingly competitive, especially with the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. He expressed confidence that UHW Perbanas graduates, particularly from the Faculty of Engineering and Design, are sufficiently equipped with knowledge of AI and are capable of utilizing it effectively, supported by their personal competencies. “Equally important are soft skills, although a high IQ is also necessary. In addition, creativity and innovation must be implemented in the workplace to help you advance to the next level,” Nurhadi asserted.Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UHW Perbanas, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, S.Psi., M.M., added that graduates must understand the importance of complex problem-solving skills. “When you enter the workforce, the initial stage is exploration—assessing whether your environment aligns with your expectations. During this process, you must develop job preferences and be capable of simplifying complex problems and providing effective solutions,” she explained.
It should be noted that based on the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Number 3100/Kp.10000/02/26 dated February 27, 2026, the total number of graduates from the Faculty of Engineering and Design consists of 17 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Informatics, 12 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Information Systems, and 2 graduates from the Bachelor’s Program in Visual Communication Design.
