The Perbanas Career Centre (PCC) successfully conducted the Job Preparation Program (JPP 2024) over two days, from March 23 to 24, 2024, in an online format. The event aimed to prepare participants, specifically final-year students from Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, for the challenges they will face in the workforce by featuring a range of qualified speakers. Among the presenters were Dr. Eric Kurniawan, S.E., M.M., Branch Manager at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Dra. Psi. Indira Winduningtyas, HR Consultant at Smart Talent, Dra. Psi. Tjahjani Prawitowati, M.M., and Shinta Setia, Psi., M.Com, a lecturer at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas. These four experts shared valuable knowledge and experience on various aspects of career preparation, including professional skills development and job interview strategies.

The JPP 2024 event was officially opened by Dr. Dra. Lindiawati, M.M., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. In her speech, she encouraged participants to continually enhance their capacities and emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for entering the workforce. She highlighted how events like the Job Preparation Program can help students become more prepared and competitive in an increasingly dynamic job market.

During the two-day event, participants gained in-depth insights into effective CV and cover letter writing techniques, personal branding strategies, and successful job interview tips. Additionally, the program featured a career discussion session with UWH Perbanas alumnus Stefelix Dova, who is currently working at PT Indomarco Prismatama. Stefelix shared his practical experiences and provided tips on navigating challenges and opportunities in the retail industry. The sessions were interactive and productive, with many participants actively asking questions and engaging in discussions. The event is expected to have a positive impact and assist participants in achieving career success in the future.
