In preparation for the international accreditation by IACBE, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Hayam Wuruk University Perbanas held a workshop discussing principles 1-9. The event invited speakers from Brawijaya University, namely: Cacik Rut Damayanti, S.Sos., M. Prof. Acc., DBA, CSRS, and Agung Nugroho Luthfi I.F., SAB., M.Bus., Sys.Pro., Ph.D.

Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., the Rector of UHW Perbanas, expressed gratitude to all the speakers who were willing to share their knowledge and experience regarding international accreditation. So far, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Brawijaya University has already undergone the international accreditation process by IACBE, and many points from their experience have been used as references in preparing the accreditation documents.

"International accreditation is crucial for us because according to next year's strategic plan, UHW Perbanas has set a target to achieve it. The entire academic community also hopes that international accreditation will be achieved soon," Dr. Yudi Sutarso stated during his speech on Friday (2/23).

Taking place in room C401 at the Wonorejo Campus, the event was attended by task forces from each program that is applying for international accreditation. The programs applying for IACBE accreditation include: Master of Management, Bachelor of Islamic Economics, Bachelor of Management, and Bachelor of Accounting. All of these programs have already attained the highest national accreditation, which is Excellent Accreditation or Accreditation A.

It is worth noting that FEB UHW Perbanas has been a member of the international accreditation IACBE since 2022. In December 2023, FEB UHW Perbanas has upgraded its status to Candidate for Accreditation by IACBE. The entire academic community at Hayam Wuruk University Perbanas hopes that this international accreditation can be achieved by 2024. (eko/hms)
