SURABAYA, August 31, 2023 - In an effort to improve the quality of education and establish closer partnerships between higher education institutions, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University and Swadaya Gunung Jati University Cirebon held a benchmarking-comparative study event on August 31, 2023. This event marked the first step in strengthening the mutually beneficial cooperation between these two leading universities.

The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, Prof. Dr. Tatik Suryani, and the Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics at Swadaya Gunung Jati University Cirebon, Dr. Drs. Acep Komara. Both deans led groups from their respective universities and collaborated in a series of academic visits and activities.

This benchmarking-comparative study aimed to exchange knowledge and experience in academic program management, quality assurance, and innovation in economics and business education. During the visit, the participants gained in-depth insights into best practices at both universities, as well as compared curricula, teaching methods, and available facilities.

Prof. Dr. Tatik Suryani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, stated, "We are very enthusiastic about this potential collaboration. By learning from each other and sharing experiences, we can continue to improve the quality of our education and provide the best learning experience to our students."

Meanwhile, Dr. Drs. Acep Komara, Dean of the Faculty of Business Economics at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon, said, "This cooperation is a positive step to strengthen our academic network. We hope to develop joint projects and student exchanges in the future." The two deans signed an agreement to continue this cooperation and plan future activities, including joint conferences, seminars, and staff and student exchanges.

With a strong spirit of cooperation, the Faculty of Economics and Business of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University and the Faculty of Economics and Business of Swadaya Gunung Jati University Cirebon are committed to continue working together to improve the quality of economic and business education in Indonesia.
