SURABAYA, August 15, 2023 - The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas pursued efforts to strengthen its academic partnership by conducting a benchmarking-comparative study visit to the School of Business and Management (SBM) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on August 15, 2023. The event aimed to enhance collaboration in education and management, and facilitate knowledge exchange between the two leading institutions.

In a visit that took place at SBM ITB Bandung, the delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas was led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Tatik Suryani, and Vice Dean, Dr. Lutfi accompanied by Head of S1 Management Burhanudin PhD, and Emma Yulianti as Lecturer. They were warmly welcomed by the SBM ITB leadership team, including the Dean, Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Achmad Fajar Hendarman.

The visit was part of a collaborative effort to identify potential for closer cooperation in the management of academic programs, research, and human resource development. During the visit, the delegation from Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas gained in-depth insight into the teaching methods, curriculum, and innovations in the field of business and management that have been implemented by SBM ITB.

Prof. Dr. Tatik Suryani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, stated, "We greatly appreciate the cooperation that has been established so far with SBM ITB, and we believe this visit will strengthen our partnership. We look forward to working together on various mutually beneficial academic projects."

In meetings that took place during the visit, leaders of both institutions discussed opportunities for future collaboration, including student exchanges, joint research, and the development of dual study programs. They also discussed the role of technology in education and strategies to improve the quality of education in the digital era.
