Innovation 2022= UHW Perbanas Students UHW Perbanas Students Create LANTERN, Solution to Improve Sleep Quality
Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University students created a 3 in 1 sleeping lamp, called LANTERN. This product was produced based on the concerns of people who have difficulty sleeping at night. Based on a survey conducted on respondents, their sleep duration was only 5-6 hours. In fact, the average ideal sleep quality for over 18 years is 7-9 hours.
Based on the results of this survey, the four students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at UHW Perbanas realized their business ideas. They come from the Undergraduate Management Study Program (Prodi), Astika Puspitasari and the Diploma 3 Banking and Finance Study Program, including: Lutfiyatul Inayah, Dewi Rosanti, and Krisnanda Dwi Cahyo.
One of the students who made LANTERN, Astika Puspitasari, said that the product she made aims to improve a person's sleep quality so that they are comfortable and calm throughout the night. The reason is, there are 3 combinations in LANTERN, namely sleeping lights, air fresheners, and room decorations equipped with barcodes (containing songs, education and meditation podcasts).
"In LANTERN there are also silhouette elements that can beautify the bedroom while sleeping. The silhouettes are varied, ranging from cartoons, animals, religion, romance, Happy Birthday or Graduation greetings. "This can be customized for the silhouette," explained Astika when showing LANTERN products in Hall B, Wonorejo Campus, UHW Perbanas, on Friday (9/9).
Astika continued, the products produced together with friends from across majors were the fruit of entrepreneurship course activities. This LANTERN product is also marketed with a price tag of IDR 60 thousand per unit. In the future, they will continue to make improvements so that their products become more popular with consumers.
“Now the lights still use batteries. Well, later we will make one that can be powered by electricity. "So you just have to plug it into electricity to use it," he concluded. (PR)
