Student Achievement - Sarah Lutfiyah Nugraha, a student of the Sharia Economics S1 Study Program at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya (UHWP) class of 2017 has successfully won the achievement of being a recipient of an overseas scholarship, namely the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) at the University of Malaya in 2022. "I plan to continue Strata 2 (S2) education there (University of Malaya)" said Sarah.

This scholarship program is an initiative of the Malaysian government to attract students with good abilities to pursue advanced academic studies in Malaysia with the aim of supporting the Malaysian government's efforts to attract, motivate and retain talented Human Resources from abroad.

For Sarah, getting the Malaysian International Scholarship is a proud achievement because the steps to find new experiences are wide open. In addition, this is also a golden opportunity for both of them to be able to study better in academic and non-academic matters. "Passing the Malaysian International Scholarship Program is one of my greatest achievements," said Sarah in an interview.

In the process, Sarah must prepare several things that are used as registration requirements, such as Transcripts, Student Identity Cards (KTM), English Profociency Tests (EPT) in the form of TOEFL, IELTS, Health Certificates, and also Research Proposals that are relevant in their fields. Sarah admitted that she received a lot of support and assistance from her lecturers and colleagues so that the existing obstacles could be overcome properly.
