Hananda Achieves 3rd Place in International Tae Kwon Do Championship
A student from Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University has successfully secured the third-place victory in the Negeri Sembilan International Online Tae Kwon Do Championship, in the Speed Kicking category. Hananda Atit Qurota, the full name of the individual, participated in the competition virtually by submitting a video of Tae Kwon Do martial arts movements to the organizers. The judging took place live as the athletes' movements were streamed on the Jakarta TKD Festival YouTube channel on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Confirming his achievement after securing the title, Hananda admitted that he has been practicing Tae Kwon Do since he was in the 3rd grade of elementary school. The Surabaya-native student has accumulated significant experience participating in championship events such as KONI, PORPROV, PEMPROV, and KEJURPROV. He has dedicated ample time to prepare himself for the Negeri Sembilan Tae Kwon Do championship.
He expressed his happiness and even his surprise at achieving this feat. "I am very happy because I did not expect to bring home the 3rd place in the Negeri Sembilan championship to Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University at the international level," he said.
