Graduates' Profile

The curriculum currently applied in the Accounting Study Program is a curriculum that is prepared based on the vision, mission and objectives of STIE PERBANAS Surabaya, and refers to Law no. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Presidential Decree No. 08 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) which is the reference in the preparation of the learning outcomes of graduates from each level of education nationally. The curriculum, which initially refers to the achievement of competencies, then refers to learning outcomes. Another reference is the Regulation of the Minister of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 44 of 2015 concerning National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti).

In accordance with the vision and mission of the Accounting Study Program, the curriculum in the Accounting Study Program has specific advantages in accounting and banking which differentiates the Accounting Study Program from other universities. The content of the existing curriculum is constantly evaluated and developed according to the development of science, technology and the needs of graduate users, so it is hoped that the study program will produce graduates who can compete in a competitive life both at the national and international levels. The content and implementation of the curriculum includes material that is directed at the formation of hard skills but also behavioral skills (soft skills) according to the needs of graduate users.

The profiles of PS Bachelor Accounting graduates are:

1. External Auditor
2. Internal Auditor
3. Accountants
4. Financial Analyst

Based on the data collected by Perbanas Career Center (PCC), 80% of STIE Perbanas Surabaya graduates are getting jobs less than 6 (six) months after graduating and 42% of graduates work in the banking industry followed by financial industry non-bank (19%), manufacture (18%), entrepreneur (15%), education (5%) and public accounting (1%).
