"Islamic Economics Bachelor Students Make Achievements in the Midst of a Pandemic!"

The Covid-19 pandemic is not an obstacle for Sharia Economics undergraduate students in making proud achievements. During the year 2021-2022, students with a Bachelor of Islamic Economics were able to achieve many achievements in the academic and non-academic fields. One of them is the Independent Campus, which is a program organized by the Minister of Education and Culture with the aim of providing opportunities for students to prepare to enter the world of work. In the Merdeka Campus program (Merdeka Belajar), there are thirteen students who have passed the Independent Study, Student Exchange, and the Holistic Program for Village Development and Empowerment (PHP2D). These students include, among others; Rifdah Nabihah, Princess Diana, Karenina Indri, Ananda Putri, Bayu Agung, Mardiah Mutiara, Rita Defani, Selfi Laela, Cindy Sevia, Wildia Septy, Muria Indah, Shabrina Ariani, and Nafisah Nur. The achievements are not only on the national level, but also on the international stage. In the Merdeka Campus International Credit Transfer Program, Arlin, Vina, and Vita successfully received international credit transfer grants at overseas universities.

In the internal environment of the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, students with a Bachelor of Islamic Economics also excelled. Karenina, Ananda, and Andika Alamsyah won 3rd place in the Internal Essay Competition. In the essay competition, Cindy Sevia also won 2nd Place in the Essay Internal Management Days. Furthermore, Salsabila also won 2nd place in World Book Day which was held by the Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University Library. In the debate competition, Shabrina managed to become the best speaker in the internal debate competition. And there are many more achievements. All the achievements achieved are at once a motivation and also proof that the pandemic is not a barrier but an opportunity to make achievements in large numbers. (Salsa/FEB)
