STIE Perbanas Surabaya has confirmed 394 graduates at the Graduation Ceremony of Management, Undergraduate, and Diploma 3 Period II Year 2019 Study Programs on Sunday, November 24, 2019. Located at Dyandra Convention Center Jl. Basuki Rachmat 93-105 Surabaya, this time the graduates consisted of: 17 people from the Master of Management Study Program (Prodi), 117 Bachelor of Management study program, 193 Bachelor of Accounting, 5 Sharia Economics, 40 people from Banking and Finance Diploma 3 Study Program, and 22 people from the Diploma 3 Accounting Graduates.

As usual, every graduation event has a Best Graduate. This girl from Surabaya has received the Best Graduate Predicate at the Period II of the STIE Perbanas Surabaya Graduation 2019. This graduate of the Diploma 3 Accounting Study Program has the full name of Rosi Yanti Sya'idah.

Rosi, as she is known, is a woman who is tough and resilient. Accepted as a Bidikmisi student in 2016, this woman wearing hijab was discouraged to continue studying. The reason is, the eldest of two siblings has been abandoned by the figure of his father since class XI. However, the daughter of the couple Mr. Alm. Hari Susanto and Ibu Welas Asih always remember the message from their father's mediang to continue their education to higher education. "My first thought was that after graduating from vocational school, I immediately wanted to work. But, Dad always wanted me to continue studying, ”said the alumni of SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya.

In addition, a number of people in his family environment even humiliated and ridiculed him. Rosi is considered unfit for education on campus. In the midst of the scorn, this woman who was born in Surabaya, January 25, 1998 proved that she had succeeded in elevating her parents with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.94 (Cum Laude).

The struggle he went through was not easy. Starting from failing to enter the state campus, Rosi struggled to get a Bidikmisi scholarship. While studying at Diploma 3 Accounting Study Program at STIE Perbanas Surabaya, he was active and often participated in competitions. One of his achievements is Second Place in the Internal Competition of Accounting (COMPAC) in 2017 and 2018. In addition, he also often provides additional lessons at night to increase his pocket money. "At night I give tutoring lessons for extra pocket money. Because college is free, so I look for additional, "said Rosi.

Retno Mutia Rani's only sister always remembers her late father's message to pursue higher knowledge. Even though his parents only graduated from high school, Rosi was asked to go to college. "This is how I elevate the status of my parents and family. Even though the father was quiet, he left education and morals for his son, ”recalls Rosi.

In the last two years, Rosi is also happy that someone is willing to become a guardian or stepfather in his family, namely H. Sudarno, ST. His happiness also increased when he had worked for two months as an Accounting Staff at the STIE Perbanas Surabaya Employee Cooperative, even though he had not yet graduated.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., revealed that the campus he leads currently has a scholarship program, namely the Full Scholarship and the Bidikmisi Scholarship. Well, for the best graduates this time they come from the Bidikmisi Scholarship Program.

He also advised all graduates to improve all knowledge and abilities in the era of information technology, global and open. "Be a lifelong learner so that you can always adapt to the changing world which is full of advances in science and technology," he said.

Regarding the names of the best graduates from each study program, including: Khusnul Ayu, S.E., M.M. (Master of Management Study Program), Axel Indra Wirawan, S.M. (Bachelor of Management), Nadia Fidy, S.E., (Bachelor of Sharia Economics), Devi Rizkiah Putri, S.Ak. (Bachelor of Accounting), Icha Krisnawati, A.Md. Bns. (Diploma 3 in Banking and Finance), and Rosi Yanti Sya'idah, A.Md. Akt. (Diploma 3 in Accounting). Then, the Best Graduates from all study programs were won by Rosi Yanti Sya'idah, A.Md., Akt., With a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.94.
