In line with the aspirations of the Indonesian nation to create Superior Human Resources (HR), STIE Perbanas Surabaya provides educational assistance in the form of a scholarship program. In 2019, the total scholarships given to new students reach IDR 2,268,200,000 (two billion two hundred sixty-eight million two hundred thousand rupiah). These are divided into two scholarship programs, namely the Full Scholarship Program and the Bidikmisi Scholarship. In details, 14 students from the Full Scholarship Program, 15 from the Bidikmisi Scholarship program.

Right on Saturday, 5 October 2019, the symbolic handover of the scholarship was delivered directly by the Head of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., accompanied by the Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Public Relations, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., and all other leaders. This good moment coincided with the Parent / Guardian Meeting for New Students at the Auditorium Campus 1 Jl. Nginden Semolo 34-36 Surabaya.

Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Public Relations, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S.E., M.M., said that this Full Scholarship was purely given by the Perbanas Surabaya Foundation and STIE. Then, the Bidikmisi Scholarship is from the government through the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI). "We did the selection for the two types of scholarships at the same time. Starting from administration, interviews, to psychology tests. Then, at the plenary meeting our leadership will determine the scholarship recipients based on the selection results, "he explained.

He continued, until now STIE Perbanas Surabaya has developed a Regional Men's Scholarship Program. With the Siak Regency Government, Riau, it has now been running for 3 consecutive years since 2017. This year, his party is also trying to target Banking and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to facilitate education costs for students. "So, this program is in the form of crowd funding," he added.

Please note, the full scholarship program from STIE Perbanas Surabaya is always given every year. The advantage is that apart from being free of tuition fees to normal studies, full scholarship recipients also get an allowance of up to Rp. 500 thousand per month. Meanwhile, Bidikmisi scholarship recipients receive an allowance of Rp 700 thousand per month.

In addition to the recipients of the Full Scholarship and Bidikmisi programs, today's event was also made ceremonial for the submission of the Academic Achievement Improvement Scholarship (PPA) with a nominal value of Rp. 528 million. The nominal amount is intended for 110 STIE Perbanas Surabaya students who are still studying at the local campus, at least semester 3. These PPA students also come from the Higher Education.
