Monday (29/7), STIE Perbanas Surabaya held an Inauguration of the Student Organization (Ormawa) for the 2019/2020 Period. Located in the Campus 1 Auditorium, hundreds of students with a green color typical of the campus at Jalan Nginden Semolo 34-36 Surabaya seemed to be lined up neatly following the Ormawa inauguration procession solemnly. Also attending were a number of Leaders, Heads of Study Programs, Heads of Work Units, and local Ormawa Facilitators.

Based on Decree Number 6025 / Kp.30000 / 06/19, STIE Perbanas Surabaya appointed 23 Ormawa. Dr. Yudi Sutarso, SE, M.Sc., as the Chairperson of STIE Perbanas Surabaya inaugurated all these Ormawa, namely: Student Representative Body (BPM), Student Executive Board (BEM), 4 Department Student Associations (HMJ), 12 Student Activity Units (UKM ). Meanwhile, the student organizations under the guidance of BEM consist of 2 Student Competency Development Units (UPKM) and 3 Sections (Sie).

On that occasion, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Sc., congratulated all the ormawa administrators who had been inaugurated and were happy to carry out the mandate. According to him, student organizations are very important because in that place, students get character education learning to become leaders. He also hopes that the Ormawa board who is inaugurated today is not the last time, but in the future can be appointed again in another leadership.

In addition, the management of ormawa for this period and in the future can support the global vision of STIE Perbanas Surabaya. So far, ormawa have been directed to make their business nuances appear. Such as the naming of the President Director, UKM Manager, Internal and External Audit Programs, and so on. Later they can also run the Ormawa Try Out work program abroad. "Previously, student Try Out was in Bali, Yogyakarta, or East Java. This year, the Try Out will be able to go to Malaysia, the Philippines, or others. This can add to the students' global insight, "he explained.

This inauguration activity also ended with a photo session with each Ormawa. This photo session was conducted with the Chairperson of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Deputy Head of Student Development and Public Relations, Dr. Basuki Rachmat, S, E., M.M., Ormawa supervisor, Laila Saleh Marta ', S.Psi., M.MT., Head of Student Division, Sunartiningsih, S., E., And a number of Ormawa assistants at STIE Perbanas Surabaya.
