In the month of Ramadan in 1438 H, STIE Perbanas Surabaya again held Iftar with Orphans and Surabaya residents. In addition, this event was held by STIE Perbanas as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT, for all the favors and gifts that He has given. Taking place at the Auditorium Building A Campus 1, this event was attended by at least 251 orphans and Surabaya residents who participated in the Iftar event, on Friday (16/6). Before this activity began, the academic community first held a Khataman Al Quran. Apart from breaking the fast together, STIE Perbanas Surabaya also provides donations to 126 orphaned children.

The orphanages that attended the event included: Yayasan Cahaya Umat Madani (Jl. Kedinding Lor Gg. Bugenvil No.17), Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Banuru Qoiyah (Jl. Wonorejo II / 4, Surabaya), Yayasan Yatim Mandiri ( Jl. Bendul Merisi Selatan I / 2-A, Surabaya), Yayasan Nuraini Mandiri Indonesia (Jl. Wonorejo III / 50, Tegalsari, Surabaya), and the Al Qomariyah Orphanage (Jl. Medokan Ayu RT03 / RW3 Rungkut Surabaya). Meanwhile, 125 local residents were also given compensation including residents of Campus 1 and Campus 2 of STIE Perbanas Surabaya.

Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, SE., M.Fin., Expressed his gratitude for the achievement of the accreditation of institution A by BAN-PT. This cannot be separated from the teamwork of the entire academic community in building this global business and banking campus. "This activity is carried out as a form of concern for STIE Perbanas Surabaya to local residents and orphans. For this reason, on this occasion, let us improve the quality of worship in the month of Ramadan and later get grace from Allah SWT, "he explained.

Meanwhile, Edy, one of the invited guests, said that he was happy to be able to attend the iftar activity at STIE Perbanas because in addition to providing compensation to orphans, this activity could improve the quality of priests. Tausiyah which was delivered by Ustadz Drs. Mutholib is quite easy to accept. "My hope is that the iftar event together with orphans and residents around the campus will always be held every year in the holy month of Ramadan so that it can help orphans and underprivileged residents. Hopefully, STIE Perbanas Surabaya will always be given blessings by Allah SWT, ”responded Edy.
