Writing skills in the Globalization Era are not only used as demands, but also as a need to improve self-competence. Especially in this digital age, everyone can write articles on online media. So, can they write in the form of scientific articles that have an impact on society?

Saturday, (3/5) at the STIE Perbanas Surabaya campus, at least 25 elementary school teachers from Sedati Sidoarjo District were very enthusiastic about participating in the Training on Assistance in Writing Scientific Writing. They practice writing scientific papers directly accompanied by a professional instructor, namely Dr. Djuwari, M.Hum., And Kartika Marta Budiana, S.Pd., M.Pd.

On this occasion, the teachers were invited to express their ideas and ideas in writing. Later, the scientific articles they write will be published in books that have ISBN (International Standard Book Number). So, the writing of scientific articles for teachers can later be used as a reference or to support their profession as an educator.

"We help these teachers to make scientific articles. In this mentoring, we provide solutions related to the difficulties they face while writing. The final goal is that the articles written by the teacher will be published in books that already have ISBNs, ”said Kartika Marta Budiana, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Previously, these teachers had also received material on writing scientific papers at an elementary school in Gugus 02 UPTD Sedati, Sidoarjo. This event is a series of activities for the 2017 Directorate General of Higher Education's Public Science and Technology Grant (IbM).

One of the trainees, Alberta Indra, S.Pd. said this event really helps teachers to add knowledge about scientific article writing. "Joining this event we can add more knowledge. I also participated in writing training during college. Hopefully, for this scientific article writing training can improve the writing skills of teachers so that it is useful in the future," hoped this teacher of SD Semampir Sedati, Sidoarjo.
