STIE Perbanas Surabaya  again invited parents or guardians of new students on Saturday-Sunday, December 2-3 2016. This time, the parents or guardians of new students who were invited from the Bachelor and Diploma 3 study programs specifically for Class 2016. Located on campus 1 and 2 STIE Perbanas Surabaya, an activity that has been routinely carried out every year since 2014 with the aim of building two-way communication between parents of students and STIE Perbanas Surabaya.

Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, SE, M.Fin., Said that this parent meeting can be used as a medium to monitor the progress of the lectures run by new students. On this occasion, all leaders and a number of structural officials as well as guardian lecturers in the STIE Perbanas Surabaya environment also attended the parent guardian meeting. They were introduced so that parents know people who often interact with their children at the STIE Perbanas Surabaya campus.

Parents of students who attended were given information and understanding about various things, including: academic information, financial information, student information, information about monitoring lectures that students were taking through the website. One of the students' parents, Ahmad Saidi, said that the lecture system at STIE Perbanas Surabaya has run well and is systematic. "However, we experienced difficulties during the licensing process for my son because he was sick because he was in Madura, so we ask for policies that can make it easier for both parties without violating applicable regulations," he asked.

Assistant Head of Academic Affairs, Dr. Emmanuel Kristijadi, MM, responded that regarding sickness permits, permission to be unable to study did not have to be submitted on the day the student was absent due to illness but could be taken care of a few days after being healthy. "So, students can take care of licensing to the academic department with the permit file signed by the guardian lecturer," he replied.

After the introduction and delivery of information about STIE Perbanas Surabaya, the event was continued with a friendly relationship between student parents and lecturer guardians so that they could communicate more intensely.
