Good Corporate Governance for Banking
The Master of Management study program at STIE Perbanas Surabaya again held a National Seminar and Book Review, on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Located in the Auditorium Room, Campus 1 of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, the event with the theme of "Good Corporate Governance" was attended by hundreds of local students, both from the program. master and bachelor degree. He also wrote a book entitled GRC (Good Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance). On that occasion, the discussants from the academic circles who were presented were the professor of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Prof. Dr. Suhartono, SE., MM., And guided by Dr. Drs. Emanuel Kristijadi, MM.
Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi., SE., M.Fin., Said that this event was very good for understanding corporate governance in anticipating a risk management system. "Through this opportunity, let us explore a number of appropriate components to create a corporate governance system, particularly in the banking sector, to establish a risk management system." The reason is, the speaker and author of the GRC book already has extraordinary experiences about the various components that are integrated into good governance, "he explained in his speech.
The book entitled GRC (Good Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) was written by Dr. Robertus Maria Bambang Gunawan, SH., MM., M.Kn., based on personal experience and findings obtained while working and studying. He said the three components (Good Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) really support business development, especially in the banking business so that later it can achieve the set targets. In addition, he explained a number of regulations issued by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as a regulatory and supervisory agency in the financial services sector. "After readers understand this book, it is hoped that friends will be able to have a comprehensive business concept and be able to implement a business according to their respective characters," he explained.
Meanwhile, seen from the viewpoint of academics, Prof. Dr. Suhartono, SE., MM., Assessed that the GRC Book already has an important role in describing banking concepts so that it supports students' knowledge with a banking concentration. "In fact, the materials written in this book can be used as material for class discussions by students," explained Prof. Dr. Suhartono, SE., MM.

He also argued that the book needed to describe the methodology used as a parameter to measure the risk management system. Then, Dr. Drs.
