On Monday (27/6), STIE Perbanas Surabaya held an Inauguration of the 2016/2017 Student Organization (Ormawa) Period. Located in the Campus 1 Auditorium, dozens of students wearing the green alma mater typical of STIE Perbanas lined up neatly to follow the Ormawa inauguration procession solemnly. On this occasion also attended a number of Leaders, Heads of Work Units, and Assistant Ormawa STIE Perbanas Surabaya.

The program hosted by Indrastuti K., S.Sos. This begins with preparing the administrators to be sworn in by positioning themselves according to their respective places. The song Indonesia Raya was also sung as a spirit of nationalism to continue the leadership relay in STIE Perbanas Surabaya, especially for students.

The Business and Banking Campus is located at Jl. Nginden Semolo 34-36 has 20 Ormawa, including: Student Representative Body (BPM), Student Executive Board (BEM), 2 Department Student Association (HMJ), 12 Student Activity Units (UKM). Meanwhile, the student organizations under the guidance of BEM consist of 2 Student Competency Development Units (UPKM) and 2 Sections (Sie). Each of these Ormawa STIE Perbanas Surabaya can be used as a forum and media for students to socialize, develop hobbies and soft skills, and train teamwork, so that later students have brilliant experiences and achievements both in the academic and non-academic fields based on their competence.

On that occasion, the Head of Student Affairs, Titik Sumarni, SE., Read a decree stating that the 2016/2017 period ends on June 30, 2016. Furthermore, the inauguration and appointment of the ORMAWA management were carried out and led by the Chairperson of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, SE., M.Fin. After being inaugurated, the ORMAWA managers signed the decision letter for the appointment of the new management which was witnessed by Dr. Lutfi, SE., M.Fin. and Dr. Sasongko Budisusetyo, M.Sc., CA. CPA., CPMA., As a symbol that a new period of management has been formed.

Chairman of STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Dr. Lutfi, SE., M.Fin. in his speech, he said that students would later become future leaders of the nation. "You are candidates for state leaders, through your organization you will know how to lead and be led, so take advantage of the extraordinary moments when you are in the Organization. For some students, Ormawa is not just a place full of work programs, through Ormawa many things can be obtained and applied to real situations, namely the world of work such as knowing how to interact with differences in individual characters, how to process time, do things systematically and think about future impact ", he explained.

The inauguration procession of the new ORMAWA management ended with a group photo session which was attended by all administrators in the order of the Student Representative Body, continued by the Student Executive Board to Sie.
