Guest Lecture on the Development of Islamic Economic Theory and Model Based on Al-Quran and Hadith

The Bachelor of Sharia Economics study program at STIE Perbanas Surabaya held a Guest Lecture on the Development of Economic Theory and Model Based on the Qur'an and Al Hadith on Wednesday, June 25, 2019. Located at the Campus 1 Auditorium, this lecture was attended by hundreds of local study program students.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Indonesian Islamic Economics Bachelor Council, Dr. Muhammad Nafik Hadi Ryandono, S.E., M.Si. brought in to explain in depth about the application of Islamic economics in society. In his lecture, Pak Nafik, his nickname, conveyed his motivation to all students to be firm in their choice to become students of Islamic economics.

He also stated that learning Islamic economics was the first to learn Al Quran and Hadiths. When it is not in line with the Qur'an and Al Hadith, it will have an impact on a person's daily economic behavior which may not be in accordance with Islamic law.

Furthermore, M. Nafik also emphasized that Islam is very beneficial for human life. In the Qur'an itself, the essence of human life has been explained, as is explained in the Al Quran, Surah Al Baqoroh verse 213 which explains things related to managing human life. Al Quran Surat Yunus Verse 35 about the true truth and Surat Ar-Ra'd Verse 28 about true happiness.

In addition, Islamic Economics is an Islamic missionary movement through the Islamic economic movement. His party also explained that the call to an Islamic economy means a call to improve the condition and uphold Islam properly. Then, the call to free Muslims from the influence of values ​​that are contrary to Islam, namely for a comprehensive development in accordance with the call for holy jihad. And, the call for Islamic economics means a call to revive Islam in the economic field and to save morals and raise nobility. (hms)
