Starting from the complaints faced by their fellow students during the rainy season, a group of students from Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University produced waterproof tote bags. The product, named Cangklong.in, has the advantage of being safe to use during rain. The UHW Perbanas students from the Bachelor's in Accounting program who created the tote bags include Arimbi, Anisa Chumairoh, Venaviola Apriyanti, Arneta Viorelia, and Gusti Satria Mukti.

When contacted, Arimbi, the coordinator of the Cangklong.in product development, explained that many students use tote bags for school, but there are hardly any in the market that include a rain cover.

"From our friends' complaints, we developed a product with a new feature, the Tote Bag Rain Cover. The name Cangklong.in comes from the Indonesian word for 'carrying' a tote bag, making our product easily recognizable," she explained.

The Cangklong.in product uses premium materials. The tote bag itself is made from marsoto canvas, protected with polyester lining. The rain cover is made from silver parachute material, safe for protecting the tote bag during the rainy season.

"This rain cover is separate from the tote bag and is placed in a hidden pocket at the bottom. With dimensions of 36 cm x 45 cm, items like laptops, binders, and books can fit inside the tote bag," detailed the fourth-semester student.

Customers are pampered with nine best design options provided. However, if customers have their own designs, Arimbi and her team accept custom designs according to the buyer's request.

"Our team creates the Cangklong.in products, including the best design options available. With a white tote bag, full-color designs can be applied according to the buyer's preference," she explained.

Each tote bag is priced at Rp 85,000 for the plain type and Rp 90,000 for the full-color design tote bag. Since early July 2024, they have started production with 50 tote bags and sell them online, including through marketplaces like Shopee.
