In 2023, the Domestic Collaboration Research Team, led by Dr. Luciana Spica Almilia, S.E., M.Si., QIA, CPSAK, was awarded a research grant opened by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The research implementation team consists of three lecturers from UHW Perbanas as the main proposers, along with three lecturers from other private universities in East Java, namely Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Universitas Bojonegoro, and Universitas KH Bahaudin Mudhary.

The research funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology focuses on the theme of Sustainable Development Goals, expecting the participation of SMEs in the East Java region as research respondents. Therefore, the team conducted data collection in several regencies and cities during the first year of the research. The areas visited for data collection include Gresik Regency and Ponorogo Regency.

In addition to data collection, the UHW Perbanas team and collaborating private universities also organized training/socialization activities. Training for 50 SMEs in Gresik Regency took place on Wednesday (09/08/2023) with the theme “Preparing Financial Reports for SMEs,” in collaboration with the Department of Cooperative and SME of Gresik Regency. Meanwhile, a socialization event for 50 SMEs in Ponorogo Regency occurred on Tuesday (29/08/2023) with the theme “Attracting Consumers with Environmental-Friendly Campaigns” through collaboration with the Department of Trade, Cooperatives, and Micro Enterprises of Ponorogo Regency.
