Surabaya, December 22, 2023 - Two students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas won achievements in the national level essay competition held by PT AXA Mandiri on November 5 - December 5, 2023.

The students are Eveline Fingka Dasliva from the Management study program who won 2nd place, and Ni'matun Amalah from the Sharia Economics study program who won 3rd place.

This essay competition was themed "The Role of Insurance in Improving Community Welfare". Eveline Fingka Dasliva raised the theme "Insurance as a Tool of Protection and Financial Planning" in the essay she wrote. Meanwhile, Ni'matun Amalah raised the theme "Sharia Insurance as an Education Financing Solution".

Eveline Fingka Dasliva said she was happy and proud of her achievement. She said that this competition was a place to hone her writing and critical thinking skills.

"I am happy and proud to have won second place in this essay competition. This competition is a place to hone my writing and critical thinking skills," said Eveline Fingka Dasliva.

The same thing was also expressed by Ni'matun Amalah. She said that this competition was a valuable experience for her.

"I am happy to have won third place in this essay competition. This competition is a valuable experience for me in the future," said Ni'matun Amalah.

The achievements achieved by the two students of FEB Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas are an extraordinary achievement that makes the alma mater proud. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Lutfi, S.E., M.Fin congratulated the two students.

"I congratulate Eveline Fingka Dasliva and Ni'matun Amalah for their achievements. This achievement is a source of pride for the alma mater."

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Luciana Spica Almilia, SE., M.Si also gave a speech and hoped that this achievement could be a motivation for other Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas students to excel in various academic and non-academic fields.
