On Monday (19/06/2023), a guest lecture was conducted as a form of collaboration between UHW Perbanas and Thai Global Business Administration Technological College (TGBC) Thailand, addressing the theme "Education in South Korea" at the 10th-floor Auditorium, UHW Perbanas. The guest lecture featured professors from TGBC, namely Dr. Chung Jae Sup and Dr. Mun Yoeng Sik, both Korean scholars. In addition, Dr. Nico Irawan, a TGBC lecturer from Indonesia, also participated as a speaker in the guest lecture. Approximately 50 students and faculty members attended as participants.

The event, which allowed students and faculty to learn and share insights about the state of education in South Korea and Indonesia, was opened by the Rector of UHW Perbanas, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Dr. Dra. Tatik Suryani, Psi., M.M., also attended the event. The three speakers presented their material and answered questions from the participants, guided by Ms. Lufi Yuwana Mursita, S.E., M.Sc., CA, CPMA.

Students and faculty showed enthusiasm for the activity by posing various questions about education in the land of ginseng. The Hallyu effect (Korean Wave) has been a reason for the increasing interest in learning various information, including education, beyond the cultural influence emanating from the country.
