The Siak Regency Government in the Riau Province has collaborated with UHW Perbanas since 2017. The local government has a solid vision to support higher education for the sons and daughters of the region. UHW Perbanas has welcomed dozens of students from Siak to pursue higher education in various study programs offered.

The commitment to providing support for students to achieve quality higher education is demonstrated, among other things, by the direct support of the Vice-Regent of Siak Regency, Mr. H. Husni Merza, BBA., M.M., and the Head of Kesra Siak Regency, Mr. H. Rozi Chandra, S.Sos., who personally monitored the activities of students in Thailand from Wednesday (02/08/2023) to Sunday (06/08/2023). During their visit, these two public officials guided and encouraged the Siak-born students of the 2020 cohort to participate in the short course program, numbering 17 individuals.

Accompanied by Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., the Rector of UHW Perbanas, in addition to monitoring student activities, these two figures also visited several iconic places in Bangkok and Samut Prakan. The visit aimed to explore innovative tourism development and infrastructure in the Siak Regency.
