Celebrating Indonesia's 78th Independence Day, UHW Perbanas Students Introduce Traditional Indonesian Dance to Praphamontree II Elementary School Students, Thailand
UHW Perbanas students shared their love for Indonesian culture through traditional dance training for students at Praphamonthree II Elementary School in Samut Prakan, Thailand. On Wednesday (16/08/2023), 21 students participating in a short course and internship at TGBC introduced Malay traditional dance to 50 students at school. The dance training took place in the school's auditorium, assisted by Ms. Lufi Yuwana Mursita, S.E., M.Sc., CA, CPMA, a faculty member.
Before the training began, the Director of Praphamonthree II Elementary School delivered a welcoming speech and expressed appreciation for the students' initiative to teach Indonesian traditional dance to their students. Following the welcome, the students were divided into five groups and trained by small teams of students before each group was asked to perform their rehearsed dance. The activity lasted for two hours and concluded with a group photo session.
