The initiation of collaboration between UHW Perbanas and the Yatim Mandiri Foundation took place on Wednesday (22/02/2023) in Room C4O6. The meeting was attended by the Head of Mandiri Entrepreneur Centre Training, Mr. M. Arif, S.Ag.; Wakaf Fundraising Manager, Mr. Deddy Suyanto, S.H.; and the Head of Yatim Mandiri Surabaya Retail, Mr. Muhammad Ali Rosyidi. Meanwhile, from UHW Perbanas, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., the Rector, and Dr. Lutfi, S.E., M.Fin., the Vice-Dean of FEB, were present—certainly, the Chair of the Islamic Economics department, Dr. Dra. Ec. Wiwik Lestari, M.Si., the initiator of the collaboration, also attended this discussion, accompanied by Dr. Ika Yunia Fauzia, Lc., MEI, an Islamic Economics Lecturer.

This collaboration aims to enhance the spiritual sense of sharing with fellow human beings, and it is also expected that both parties can contribute according to the efforts to achieve the vision of each institution. After going through several rounds of discussions regarding the collaboration, the meeting agenda concluded with signing the Implementation of Agreement (IoA) and minutes by both parties, followed by a documentation session. After this discussion, continuous collaboration will be established. Additionally, both parties agreed to follow up on the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). (VS&LYM)
