The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University has implemented a collaborative program with the Faculty of Economics at Universidade Da Paz in Timor Leste. One form of collaboration between the two institutions is the organization of training sessions for educators at Unpaz. The training provided focuses on deepening insights and skills in banking. Here, UHW Perbanas trains prospective banking laboratory instructors who will later be deployed at Unpaz in Timor Leste.
The Rector of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, Dr. Yudi Sutarso, S.E., M.Si., expressed his gratitude for the trust placed by Unpaz in his leadership at the current campus. Drawing from the banking campus concept, the training for prospective Bank Laboratory Instructors has been a routine task. So far, the operational system of the Banking Lab at UHW Perbanas has been developed internally and adapted to the banking system in Indonesia. Moreover, the banking system at UHW Perbanas can also be operated online.
"We hope that the participants attending the offline training at the UHW Perbanas Lab can follow the series of materials well. Additionally, our colleagues can apply the knowledge gained during teaching sessions for students at Unpaz," he stated after delivering the opening remarks on Monday, (February 20).

Meanwhile, Francisco M.F.X, Lie.Eco.,M.Ak., one of the training participants from Unpaz, acknowledged the significant benefits of this activity for himself and his team. As a banking lecturer, the material received will be further developed for students at Universidade Da Paz. "There are 4 participants present here. There are also plans for participants to join from there (Timor Leste). Hopefully, after this training, we can apply and deliver banking material in teaching to students," Francisco expressed during the training opening session.

It is worth noting that the banking training for Universidade Da Paz in Timor Leste at the UHW Perbanas Lab lasts for 5 days, from Monday to Friday (February 20-24). The topics covered include: General Introduction to Banking, Electronic Data Processing, Customer Service, Teller/Tab, Checking Accounts, Deposits, Account Officers, Credit Administration, Transfers, Clearing, Import-Export, Accounting, and Auditing.
