Hayam Wuruk University Perbanas Surabaya has just held a selection of Outstanding Students. Where Achievement Students (Mawapres) are students who have achieved high achievements, both academic and non-academic, are able to communicate in Indonesian and English, have a positive attitude, and have the spirit of Pancasila.

Becoming an Outstanding Student (Mawapres) is not an easy thing, because there are conditions that must be met so that it is said to meet the criteria. The criteria for selecting Outstanding Students (Mawapres) are based on 4 aspects, namely GPA; Scientific papers; Superior and proud achievements/achievements; and other PPB English/foreign language skills. In addition, there must be a balance between them. Academics must be good, the organization must be active, achievements must be present, and foreign language skills must be qualified.

The Outstanding Student Candidates from Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University are Cheline, Robiah, Bella, Ningrum, and Andika. They excel in both academic and non-academic fields. Besides being busy in college, they are also busy in student organizations. With their selection as outstanding student candidates at the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya, this is certainly very proud for them. Their achievements are also very diverse.

The main key to being one of the mawapres candidates is balance, try to balance everything you do. Starting from an academic perspective by getting a good GPA, English language skills, being active in organizations, participating in various competitions and events at the national/international level and others. Because the mawapres assessment is not only in one aspect. the more aspects that can be mastered and balanced, the greater the chance to be elected as mawapres, said Ningrum mawapres from the Management Study Program.

Staying true to yourself and always keeping commitments is the key to success, said Andika mawapres from the Sharia Economics Study Program.

Andika's impression when she became a candidate for Mawapres (Achievable Student) yesterday was a feeling of pleasure and surprise. Of course, they are very happy and grateful to have earned the trust of many parties: family, lecturers, friends, to my organizational colleagues who have always supported the decisions they made until they were elected as Outstanding Students of  Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University Surabaya 2022.

A message for other students who later want to become candidates for Mawapres can prepare themselves by starting to look for information about Mawapres and what needs to be prepared in the Pilmapres, I suggest as early as possible. It can be in terms of academics, competition achievements, organization, English language skills and other aspects. stay consistent in what you do to achieve these targets, can look for appropriate learning methods to motivate you to learn, always give positive affirmations to yourself as I said "do what you love and love what you do", said Ningrum mawapres from S1 Management Study Program.
