NEWS OF SHARIA ECONOMY BACHELOR ALUMNI

The curriculum currently implemented in the Islamic Economics Bachelor Study Program is a curriculum that is prepared based on the vision, mission and objectives of the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas, and refers to Law no. 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Presidential Decree No. 08 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). The rules above become a reference in the preparation of learning outcomes for graduates from every level of education nationally. The curriculum which initially referred to the achievement of competencies became referring to learning outcomes. Another reference is the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 44 of 2015 concerning National Standards for Higher Education (SN Dikti).

In accordance with the vision and mission of the Islamic Economics Bachelor Study Program, the curriculum has specific advantages in the fields of business and Islamic banking. The content of the existing curriculum is developed based on the development of science, technology and the needs of graduate users, so that the study program is expected to produce graduates who can compete well at the national and international levels. The content and implementation of the curriculum includes the depth of material directed at the formation of hard skills and behavioral skills (soft skills) needed in the world of work. This is done in an effort to achieve the goals of the Institution and Study Program, which is to produce graduates in the fields of business and Islamic banking who are professional and have global insight.

Profiles of graduates of the Shariah Economics Study Program are:

Practitioners in Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions
Islamic Business and or Entrepreneurship

Based on data collected by the Perbanas Career Center (PCC), 80% of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University graduates find work less than 6 (six) months after graduation and 42% of graduates work in the banking industry followed by the non-bank financial industry (19 %), manufacturing (18%), entrepreneurship (15%), education (5%) and accounting firms (1%).
